  My plate of 1 lb crab legs that I ordered came out and wasn't even 2 clusters. And they were tiny. The sides were good. Tasted great. But the crab was not cooked all the way and I don't even think they gave me a full pound. I said something to the waitress and was very kind about it. . And she could see how small it was. She said they weigh everything on the scale in the kitchen. I'm not disagreeing that they do that. But I definitely got shorted. I've seen hundreds of individual pounds of crab legs in my life.. and this was no more than a half LB. I am a returning customer.. they've always seemed short with the weight. But never this short. I usually wouldn't even say anything but I feel robbed this time. I still was charged full price and paid full price. I probably won't be returning to Nick's again after this one... I am a regular customer there and I live 3 minutes down the street... if you go to Nick's make sure they don't short your food too !!! I think they do it so they make their money back to compensate for all of the kids and waitresses that eat everything behind the counter..... while the waitresses are on the clock.

  Our favorite seafood place in the area. My husband & I grew up in the area & have had lots of seafood at various places. We love Nicks the best! Quiet. Beautiful view. Lovely sunsets. No traffic to fight with. Amazing seafood & cheese grits!

  They have great, fresh food and a lovely backdrop of Choctawhatchee Bay. Fresh oysters are the best in the area and the batter on anything fried is light and perfectly cooked! I LOVE the gator tail dinner. People drive from all over the area for Nick's. I used to think Nick's only survived because it was the only restaurant in those parts, but I was wrong! Added bonus: anyone over 90 eats free!

  Great atmosphere along the North Side Of The Bay at Basin Bayou. Excellent Seafood. Great place to see old friends and make new ones
